Nick joined Dummit, Buchholz & Trapp’s San Diego team after previously completing a clinical externship at the firm in 2019. Nick proudly represents hospitals, healthcare professionals, and hospital employees in medical malpractice and general liability matters.

Prior to law school, Nick worked for several years in the non-profit sector, starting an organization devoted to providing early childhood educational resources to families in underserved communities in San Diego County. He has also worked as a case coordinator at JAMS, supporting neutral arbitrators and mediators in ADR administration.

During law school, Nick was awarded Dean’s List distinction, and was a founding member of the school’s Parents in Law School Society. Outside of the classroom, Nick interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Civil Division in San Diego. He also volunteered at Legal Aid Society of San Diego, after which he was awarded its “Outstanding Service Award.” He was later inducted into CWSL’s Pro Bono Honors Society.

In his free time, Nick serves on the Board of Directors for Think Dignity, a non-profit organization devoted to serving San Diego’s unhoused community. Above all, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids.
