Ms. Becker brings a broad level of experience to Dummit, Buchholz & Trapp. She spent the first decade of her legal career focusing her practice on complex litigation, large-loss general liability, wrongful death claims, products liability, landlord-tenant disputes, and TBI claims, for a well-known civil litigation defense firm in San Diego.
 
Ms. Becker currently specializes in the defense of healthcare providers against allegations of medical negligence, elder/dependent adult abuse, and statutory violations. She is proud to represent healthcare systems, hospitals, and individual health care providers, and is a zealous advocate on their behalf. Ms. Becker also assists clients with general liability claims.
 
Due to her broad practice background, Ms. Becker brings a unique perspective to defending medical negligence claims, and prides herself on possessing strong and persuasive writing skills, and an ability to foster strong client relationships. Ms. Becker has had great success resolving cases through effective law and motion practice and strategic settlement negotiations.
 
Ms. Becker graduated from San Diego State University in 2005 and Santa Clara University School of Law in 2008, where she was a member of the esteemed Honors Moot Court program.
 
In her free time, Ms. Becker enjoys spending time with her husband, two young children, and their dog, Finnegan.
